An Evaluative Study of the University Preparatory Year Program (PYP)

 

Due to the realization of KSU administration of the importance of evaluating higher education efficiency and its extent of success in achieving and developing programs, a comprehensive evaluative study of the PYP has been conducted.  A multi-model evaluation was used in the study as an organizational intellectual framework, including the following phases: context, inputs, processes and outputs (Product - CIPP). Both quantitative and qualitative approaches were used in the study, utilizing different research instruments (questionnaires, observations, interviews, workshops and tests), as well as a review of a number of documents, specialized reports and related studies.
