No, the program grants an internally accredited certificate from King Saud University aimed at developing teaching competencies. It is not an academic degree. - Is the program limited to specific academic disciplines?
No, the program is designed for all academic disciplines. Each session includes participants from diverse fields to promote broader exchange of experiences.
Second: Target Group and Admission Requirements
- Who can apply to the Fellowship program?
Faculty members at King Saud University or equivalent PhD holders involved in academic teaching, especially newly appointed staff. - What are the basic admission requirements?
- Holding a PhD degree.
- Completion of the new faculty orientation course (or equivalent).
- Teaching an undergraduate course during the program period.

- Is full-time availability required to join the program?

A certificate titled "King Saud University Teaching Fellowship "—an internal certificate recognized by the university. It is added to the faculty member’s professional record and may be incorporated into the national qualifications framework in the future. - Does the fellowship certificate affect promotion or leadership eligibility?
It is not a formal requirement. - Will participants receive a digital or printed certificate?
Participant receive an official printed and signed certificate. A digital version can also be requested.
Fifth: Partnerships and International Development
- Are there collaborations with international institutions?
The program’s structure is based on academic benchmarks, and partnerships are currently being developed with globally recognized teaching centers.
Sixth: Application and Inquiries
- When does the application period begin?
This is the first session of the program. Regularly, applying to the program will start in the second week of the second academic semester each year. Announcements will be made via the center's website, university email, and circulars to colleges and departments. - How can I apply?
By completing an electronic application form announced by the center, which includes submitting a CV, a statement of purpose, and department approval.
Seventh: After the Program
- Can participants continue their development after completing the program?
