Based on the vision of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching to become a pioneering model in developing university education and its mission to transfer and localize the best global initiatives to develop the level of educational practices and improve student learning at the university, the center was interested in launching the Educational Consultations Program.

The Educational Consultations Program aims to improve the educational experiences of students that they receive at the university by helping faculty members build those experiences according to scientific foundations. The idea of the program is based on providing support and assistance to faculty members in the field of education, integrating technology into education, designing courses, assignments, assessments, etc. Such support will be provided by faculty members with expertise and experience in this field.

Kind of Consultation

The Center of Excellence provides faculty members with the opportunity to obtain consultations in various aspects in the field of teaching and learning by one of the consultants from the faculty members with experience cooperating with the center in providing this service.

The consultation is individual in which a topic of interest to the faculty member who benefits from the service is discussed, or a challenge that needs support to overcome it, or a new experience that he/she is trying to build by following previous experiences. This consultation can be obtained by filling out an educational consultation request form.

Consultants

They are faculty members from different specializations with at least ten years of teaching experience who can provide professional and confidential feedback and have high communication skills that enable them to make suggestions for improving teaching. Consultations related to teaching and learning are provided by evidence-based sources and scientific researches as well as based on their cumulative experience.
