Learning by Service is an educational strategy that integrates community service into the curriculum in a way that enhances learning, improves its outcomes, increases students' readiness for the labor market, hones their practical skills, and enhances the social responsibility of university graduates.

King Saud University aims to employ Learning by Service program to be an essential part of the processes of building, implementing, and evaluating curricula in the various colleges of the university as a model to be emulated, which distinguishes it from volunteer work or field training.
